As Truvada® began to grow in popularity, thousands of patients began noticing adverse side effects after taking the PrEP drug. Some examples of the side effects include kidney damage, bone fractures, and other bone-related injuries. Many of these bone injuries are related to bone density loss, a known side effect of Truvada®.
